He accredits more than 20 years of hotel and real estate experience, of which the last 11 years have mainly been in the Latin American region. The vision of more than 400 appraisals by different European and Latin American countries, multiple feasibility studies, 45 hotels where he has selected the operator and negotiated the operation or lease contracts, leadership in the transaction of hotels and hotel portfolios in Spain, Morocco, Colombia and Panama, as well as tasks such as the asset management and the hotel operation during the years when he worked at Melia Hotels International, confer on Tomas a vast and deep knowledge of the hotel sector and its operational, financial and real estate derivations, which are reflected in the benefit for the clients and the projects he is involved in.

He has worked at Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality as an Associate Director Spain & Portugal, at CB Richard Ellis as Senior Consultant of the Spain and Mediterranean Arch hotel department and at Melia Hotels International as an adjunct to the Operations Director Europe division.

He is the founder of Regenera Hospitality Trends and has been the person with the greatest responsibility in the feasibility studies, the search for an operator and raising the capital for the following hotel projects:

For more than thirty years, Miguel has developed his whole professional career in leading positions and/or top management in the area of Real Estate, from its various perspectives, such as advisory for financial entities (Unicaja, Banco Atlantico, Caja Granada), real estate promoters (Grupo Avila Rojas, Civil Cost Viviendas), urban and hotel planning (Artigis Turistico Residencial), construction companies of public and private projects (GrupoCivil, Logarpa, Aymerich Golf Construccion) and several project management endeavors.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER AND HOTEL PROJECTS:

With international experience in consulting, M&A and Real Estate in Spain, Argentina and Turkey, Luis joined ONIRIUS (REGENERA) in 2015. Since then he leads the consulting and hotel investment services in Latin America for ONIRIUS.

In Spain, Luis was a member of a team that structured the fusion and acquisition of CaixaBank over Banca Civica for €977 million. Later, Luis led the PMO strategy for further restructuring of the whole CaixaBank Real Estate portfolio.

As vice president of IMAGINARIUM for Eastern Europe and the Middle East, Luis led +50 stores and +250 employees, achieving regional sales of SS +9% and the opening of 6 new stores in record time.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER AND HOTEL PROJECTS:

As a continuation to professional beginnings in mining and civil projects in South Africa, Mexico and Saudi Arabia, his career is oriented to hotel development when he joined Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI). There he started as Project Manager in 1999. He left MVCI in 2010 as Vice President of Architecture and Construction for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He is in charge of project development and its completion within the deadline, within the budget and with the quality required by company standards. He is in charge of the structuring of management teams and project design in different countries/continents; of the definition of his responsibilities; of the implementation of adequate hiring and planning strategies and assuring the proper performance of said teams.

He is a cofounding partner of RH10 in Mexico in 2007 and in Peru in 2013, and of OM3 in 2010 in Spain and in 2013 in Qatar. Both companies are specialized in international hotel development consulting.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER AND HOTEL PROJECTS:

Engineer with 26 years of experience in the management of construction projects, mainly in the hotel sector. He started his career with civil project work in Mexico and construction and renovation projects for retail, offices, F&B and residential in Madrid.

He joins the MVCI team in 2001 and leaves the company 10 years later as Senior Director of Project Management for Europe and the Middle East. His responsibilities comprised the selection of consultants, design coordination, determination of hiring strategies, supervision of the construction, FF&E and OS&E furnishing and delivery to the operations department of the company. He was also in charge of the analysis of technical feasibility of projects. From the year 2009 to 2012 he was in charge of the property in the development of the W Paris Opera Hotel (Starwood).

He is a cofounding partner of OM3, RH10 Mexico, RH10 Peru and OM Management Qatar, all specialized in hotel development.

During the last 9 years he has participated in the development of more than 20 hotels in different countries, taking different roles (Property Representative, Design manager, etc.), dealing with the main operators and with some of the most internationally renowned design consultants.
